Description:
+ Manage billing setup and management of matters, timekeepers and rates, coordinate/process appeals, maintain budgets and research balances as required.
+ Establish new clients on selected billing platforms.
+ Compile and bill hours and expenses to clients.
+ Proactively monitor potential errors that may result in the rejection of e-bills.
+ Review and edit proformas in response to attorney and legal administrative assistant requests.
+ Ability to handle a high volume of bills per month.
+ Ability to execute complex bills in a timely manner (i.e., multiple discounts by matter, split-party billing, preparation of bills including expense backups and approvals). Process improvement of the billing functions.
+ Research and analyze deductions and provide best course of action for balances.
Skills:
AR, Collections, Salesforce
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
+ College coursework in Accounting, Finance or Business Information Systems preferred.
+ 2-4 years relevant work experience.
+ Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word and Outlook).
+ Salesforce experience preferred
+ Construction on manufacturer experience preferred.
