The Corporate Vice President of Marketing reports to the Chief Marketing Officer and leads the strategy, planning, execution and measurement of global integrated and portfolio marketing for NCR Atleos. The CVPM is accountable for one marketing plan for the enterprise backed by customer journeys, positioning, and messaging maps. This role works in partnership with sales and product management to define the strategy and to prioritize initiatives.

Responsibilities

Work with product, marketing, and sales leaders to shape campaign themes for a yearlong timeframe

Work cross-functionally and across leadership on behalf of the CMO to bring together stakeholders across marketing, sales and product

Oversee major marketing transformation initiatives that are strategic to the business on behalf of the CMO

Conducts analysis of historical performance, forecast data, and other relevant insights to inform marketing goal setting

Contributes to marketing participation in business reviews

Reviews and adapts the marketing plan regularly

Builds business case for marketing investment

Prioritize and align target audiences, developing effective messaging, and planning campaign strategy

Define common campaign structure and elements to be used across the enterprise

Document the responsibilities of various functions during the campaign planning and execution lifecycle. Hold functions accountable.

Coordinate with finance for campaign budget allocation and tracking

Establish systems, templates and best practices for campaign planning, buyer personas, messaging blueprints and others as needed

Orchestrates the end-to-end marketing planning process and all iterations during the planning cycle (e.g., inputs, milestones, participants, actions, templates, calendar)

Uncover, develop and evangelize product positioning, value propositions and messaging that resonates with the buying audience providing source messaging documents for use by downstream marketing functions such as campaign, demand, and content teams

Oversee and provide input into the process for developing customer references, testimonials and case studies for external and internal use

Understand buyer and customer needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape

Develop deep understanding of the buying audience. Conduct research and gather insights about target personas, buyer needs, and the purchasing decision process for the organization's portfolio

Drive an audience-centric marketing approach within the organization, ensuring that messaging, content, and campaign strategies are centered around buyer and customer needs

Identify the buying group for the solutions and map the buying journey process for the key buyers in the group

Create a content strategy based on buyer behavior and preferences (e.g., white papers, brochures, social media, Web pages, online events)

Work with marketing operations to measure campaign performance and with business leaders to course-correct as campaign execution unfolds

Drive the analysis of historical performance data and market intelligence to ensure that the CMO creates the business case to get the requisite budget to drive profitable growth.

Provide data and insights for decision-making

Forecast, measure, analyze, and report on the impact of demand activities on sales pipeline, revenue, and sales cycle length

15+ year of experience with marketing process creation, implementation, and governance
