As a Construction Project Manager at K-Con, Inc., you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing our Design/Build projects for Federal customers. You will be responsible for leading project teams, coordinating with design partners, managing subcontractors and suppliers, and ensuring the successful completion of projects within budget and schedule. Your strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to build and maintain relationships will be crucial to your success in this role.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1.Project Management:

Lead and manage multiple construction projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Develop and implement project plans, including defining project objectives, scope, and deliverables.

Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to clearly define project requirements and expectations.

Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure project success.

Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and regulations.

Utilize project management software and tools to track project milestones, documentation, and communication.

2.Team Leadership and Coordination:

Build and lead project teams, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Delegate tasks, set clear expectations, and provide support and guidance to team members throughout the project lifecycle.

Coordinate with design partners and consultants to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, encouraging open communication and teamwork.

3.Budget and Cost Control:

Develop project budgets and cost estimates, ensuring accuracy and alignment with customer requirements.

Monitor project expenses, track actual costs against budgeted amounts, and implement cost control measures as necessary.

Negotiate contracts, change orders, and pricing agreements with subcontractors and suppliers to optimize project costs.

4. Quality Assurance and Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, codes, and safety standards.

Conduct regular quality inspections and manage the resolution of any quality issues.

Implement and adhere to K-Con's quality management system, ensuring consistent and high-quality project delivery.

5. Client Communication and Relationship Management:

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining regular communication and providing project updates.

Proactively address client concerns, resolve conflicts, and manage client expectations throughout the project.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in the Design/Build sector.

3. Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects from initiation to completion.

4. Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials.

5. Familiarity with federal construction requirements and regulations, including FAR and Davis-Bacon Act.

6. Proficiency in project management software, such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.

7. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

8. Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

9. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

10. Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
