The top half of the posted salary range is generally reserved for candidates who far exceed the requirements and qualifications for the role.Position OverviewThe initiatives and actions of the Special Projects Team (SPT) in the Office of Operations aims to improve the overall system performance of local education agencies in Texas. The Project Management Specialist will support the operations and organization of key agency initiatives, involving both project management and administrative support. Reporting to the Director of Strategic Partnerships, Office of Operations, this position supports the coordinating and planning of projects, data collection, monitoring the progress and schedule of projects; and proactively communicating with SPT staff to maximize supports and processes that will help the team achieve agency and office level goals. You will join an adaptive team, comprised of strategic and systematic thinkers dedicated to improving agency initiatives and ensuring alignment across agency teams.Flexible work location within the state of Texas may be considered for qualified candidates.
