Full Stack Java Engineer The Expertise You Have
  • 5 - 10 years of development experience with 3 - 5 years of technical leadership experience at a Team lead level.
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Excellent knowledge of REST concepts and developing REST API's using Spring boot with Tomcat. Object-oriented analysis and design experience
  • Excellent understanding of Java 8 capabilities, lambda, streams, and functional interfaces
  • Excellent SQL and database concepts to work with large databases
  • Good understanding of Cloud engineering concepts
  • Good aptitude to quickly grasp newer concepts, learn on the fly and apply them in day-to-day work.
  • Smart analytical skills to derive meaningful inferences from data sets and then apply those inferences to resolve business challenges.
  • Ability to understand custom client data specs, apply them to the data feeds and understand the nuances where these data feeds differ from the Product standards. Document these differences and work with SMEs / Other team members to solve these differences.

Project Verification Info :Overview: Enhancing 2 key in house applications in house: Benefits Builders and Configuration Management for onboarding new healthcare client. •3 Squads total they're augmenting: 2 Development and 1 Applications/Production Support. Candidate profiles are the same for each, but they will interview and direct candidate hires to align with their strengths. Tech Stack: Java, Spring Boot, REST API, Microservices, Hibernate, SQL, Postgres, Angular, in-house cloud they're migrating to Azure, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes Role Notes: •Biggest need is toward the back-end and middle-tier. If a candidate does have Angular that's a huge plus but there are strong UI resources already on these teams they can pull from. ~20-25% upcoming stories are UI. Does not care about particular version of Angular, as long as 2+ w/ Typescript (still nice to have vs hard requirement) •Mostly enhancement work, some new development of services, adding features to the UI. •Need understanding of SQL and Databaseunderstanding how the data is sourced, any gaps that aren't available. Tuning queries and being able to make requests from the data teams on what data gaps exist within the Postgres tables. •REST API/Microservices build and rebuild work in Java/Spring Boot (migrating from Java 11>13). •Hibernate or similar ORM framework needed •CI/CD Jenkins enterprise pipelines for builds and deploys already in place. Will not need to create anything from scratch, but will need to understand a Jenkins job, pulling logs. •All code is containerized through Docker and Kubernetes, templates and processes already in place as well, but need to know containerized code. •Unit testing of code required (Mockito/Junit) but nothing deeper. Have 7 SDETs across the 3 squads and others that can be pulled in. •Splunk/Datadog nice to havepulling and querying logsfor both dev and Prod/Apps support roles.
