Overview:

Under the leadership of the Manager, Technical Operations (Tech Ops) Training, the Program Administrator, LMS is responsible for the maintenance and execution of the Tech Ops (Maintenance) Training learning management system (LMS). The Program Administrator, LMS is also responsible for department data analysis and report generation to assist management in making critical business decisions with respect to training metrics and goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining the Tech Ops Training LMS processes and procedures pertaining to individual training requirements, scheduling, delivery, analysis, and reporting.
  • Manages community areas within the LMS including functionality, appearance, tabs, and settings
  • Acquires and maintains knowledge of current technology as it applies to LMS software and systems.
  • Analyzes data and recommends solutions to utilize the LMS to deliver, track training, and measure performance to meet organizational objectives
  • Create automated processes where applicable for data extraction, report processing, and distribution.
  • Develop and maintain CASS training reporting, monthly Tech Ops Training Scorecard, other ad hoc report requests
  • Creates and executes a long-term plan for learning management system growth and improvement
  • Creates and manages user structures including the creation of user groups and learning cohorts
  • Publishes and archives online or blended learning solutions, assigns training curricula, and adds and deletes resources.
  • Manages tracking of course revisions and history.
  • Provides troubleshooting assistance for users regarding logging in to the LMS and accessing courses.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves issues relating to system functionality and software systems.
  • Serves as point of escalation for support issues, which may include interaction with LMS vendor and other vendor support services.
  • Reviews and monitors system performance.
  • Works to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to accessing the LMS and course content.
  • Provides LMS user training as necessary.
  • Coordinate and build Instructor-Led, and Computer-Based Training scheduled offerings within LMS calendar system.
  • Conduct Training Record audits and spot checks to assure training record accuracy and currency.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Position requires some physical exertion such as pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, standing, walking and light lifting of boxes, bags, files, etc. not in excess of 30 lbs.
  • Can involve long periods of sitting. Computer work, in a typical office environment, subject to critical deadlines.

Qualifications:
  • BA/BS College or a combination of education and related experience
  • Coursework and/or certifications relating to learning management system administration preferred
  • Experience with an LMS or ERP application (e.g. SAP, SuccessFactors) preferred
  • Experience with a Report Designer preferred
  • Experience with database query language (SQL, XML, etc.) preferred
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Competent with Microsoft Office Suite with advanced skills in Excel
  • Airline industry or operational experience is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities
  • Strong ability to multi-task efficiently and effectively to meet given time parameters
  • Strong work ethic, reliable, self-motivated with a positive attitude
  • Experience with development and implementation of airline type training curricula preferred
  • Ability to adapt to rapid changes in performance of essential job functions.
  • Some travel required as necessary
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
