Director of Talent Acquistion and Engagement
Hybrid work in Lynn, MA
Lynn Community Health Center (LCHC) is a mission driven community health center in the heart of Lynn, MA, 12 miles north of Boston, dedicated to bringing high quality, compassionate health care to all in the community regardless of ability to pay.
LCHC is looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition professional who will develop the strategy and implement the programs that will find and engage the Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Behavioral Health Therapists, Nurses, Patient Service Representatives, et al to fulfill this commitment to the community. This person owns the total talent acquisition life cycle for the institution.
In addition, this role is responsible for developing and implementing an Employee Engagement program which helps LCHC achieve the status of a Top Place to Work.
Major Accountabilities:
Develop the talent acquisition strategy for filling all positions at LCHC.
Implement talent acquisition programs to ensure that community members receive high quality, compassionate health care.
Utilize principles of workforce planning to get ahead of the vacancy curve.
Administer an Employee Engagement Survey and action plan with the goal of LCHC being known as a “Top Place to Work.”
Collaborate with management on creating an environment which engages the hearts and minds of all employees and where employees find work that “makes their heart sing.”
Provide training to staff as needed to effectively interview, select, and onboard new employees.
Partner with clinical staff on implementing effective precepting opportunities which may lead to longer term employment.
Measure fill rate, cycle time, cost of hire, retention, and employee engagement with the goal of improving the process.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
BS/BA in business administration, human resources, psychology or relevant field required
3 to 5 years of full cycle recruitment experience in a large health care organization
2+ years’ experience in leveraging marketing and branding tools, including the internet, social networks and job boards to attract and recruit candidates
Demonstrated strategic,
transformation/change,
and operational leadership experience.
Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and databases; and,
Experience administering Employee Engagement surveys, including understanding the analytics and taking action to address issues raised
A leader and strategic thinker
Excellent communicator
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous healthcare experience is highly recommended
Ability to successfully build relationships and interact with all levels in the organization, including executives
