VISTA FTB Neighbor Experience Data Specialist

Volunteers in Service to America (VISTA) is an anti-poverty program designed to provide needed resources to nonprofit organizations and public agencies to increase their capacity to uplift communities. The AmeriCorps VISTAs serve alongside the Feeding Tampa Bay team in our fight to end hunger in the Tampa Bay area by increasing our ability to serve our neighbors.
As a VISTA FTB Neighbor Experience Data Specialist you will help to increase the capacity of the Feeding Tampa Bay increase the capacity of Feeding Tampa Bay by expanding food donations and distributing to those who are food insecure within FTB's 10-county territory. Increasing the capacity of Feeding Tampa Bay to grow new project initiatives to increase the amount of food provided to those in need.
Objective of Assignment
- Review all Neighbor Services SOP's and data overviews to understand internal processes and identify opportunities for expansion or improvement.
- Interview individual staff and relevant team members to create SWOT analysis of program operations at current state.
- Assist the Neighbor Impact Manager in creating a monthly data dashboard for each operating program within the Neighbor Experience team (i.e. Neighbor Services, Trinity Cafe, The Bistro, Feeding Pinellas, etc.)
- Collaborate with Feeding Tampa Bay's Organizational Excellence team to incorporate appropriate elements of the Team Data Dashboard with the Feeding Tampa Bay Organizational Data Dashboard.
- Present team dashboard to the Neighbor Experience team monthly and facilitate discussions surrounding program improvement and neighbor experience.
- Assist Neighbor Impact Manager in creating an online team dashboard using Google Sites that houses all data reporting information and SOP's for easy team access
- Be 18 years or older (no upper age limit)
- Pass a national service criminal history check
- Stipend of $877.66 (gross before taxes) paid bi-weekly for term of service
