About the Role

We are seeking an Information Security Architect to be responsible for implementing and strategic security initiatives which will support the Information Security program throughout Packsize. This individual will work closely with technology partners within Packsize and lead the effort to create a "Security First" approach to technology solutions and product development.

What you will do
  • Develop collaborative working relationships with business and technology leaders and become a positive influence to create a culture of security within IT and OT product environments.
  • In partnership with development teams, leverage DevSecOps practices to drive continuous improvement in our security posture within our software delivery pipeline.
  • Lead security initiatives that can improve security posture of the machine environment.
  • Act as a key stakeholder in IT/Product forums and committees by being an active voice for cybersecurity best practices and policies.
  • Lead the development of the Information Security compliance program, utilizing GRC tools to establish, uphold, and communicate information security policies and standards which align with industry regulations and compliance mandates.
  • Identify and assess potential security risks and vulnerabilities and escalate security issues to both the security management and business leaders and work together to define remediation plans for the identified security risk.
  • Oversee information security risk assessments of vendors, contracted services and other third-party services providers, and facilitate risk assessments for new business ventures.
  • Lead immediate responses to security-related incidents and provide thorough post-event analyses.Conduct security audits, assessments, and testing to confirm compliance to information security standards and practices.
  • Serve as our cryptography and key management expert, ensuring that our security protocols align with industry best practices.
  • Evaluate emerging and current cybersecurity products in the market to align with Packsize's strategic information security plan.
What you will Bring
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various security domains, extensive experience in implementing and improving security practices within software CI/CID and machine environments. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to fortify our cybersecurity posture.
  • 10+ years of security related experience required. 5+ years experience in a DevSecOps role or as software security architect. 3+ years experience in OT Security.
  • The ability to interact with Packsize personnel, customers and partners and be able to build strong relationships at all levels and across all business units and organizations, and understand business imperatives.
  • Technical proficiency in security-related hardware and software; ability to function as a consultant to other IT groups on security matters as a recognized technical expert.
  • Passion for DevSecOps and the ability to collaborate closely with development teams, making security an integral part of our software development process.
  • Specialized focus on OT hardware solutions, particularly in solving complex OT security challenges such as remote device deployment and software release management in an OT environment.
  • Thorough understanding of cloud security architecture and best practices.
  • Experience delivering, implementing or creating complex technical security solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate and test emerging security technologies.
  • Experience conducting security risk assessments and audits and identifying the risk to the business and defining treatment strategies.
  • Clear understanding and experience implementing security controls in order to comply with regulatory requirements and laws such as GDPR, SOX as well as risk, control, and assurance frameworks, such as SOC2, ISO, NIST, etc.

  • Able to commute to Packsize Headquarters and may work remotely in a hybrid setting.
  • Ability to work in an office environment; sitting for extended periods and move about an office.
  • May work remotely periodically - Comfortable with hybrid office setting.
  • Ability to travel up to 15%. Able to travel internationally.
