Tune materials, components, and interfaces to fit functional requirements. Propose approaches to overcome engineering challenges including scaling up, high pressure, and heat exchange. Coordinate design changes with cross-functional engineering teams. Carefully document all testing procedures in accordance with company guidelines including safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Effectively collaborate in interdisciplinary teams working towards common goals. Occasionally travel on-site to partner or customer locations. Present and submit detailed reports on research carried out using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, or similar software. Good organizational skills, record keeping, and follow-through will be integral to success.

Preferred Qualifications: Working knowledge of power electronics, voltage and current regulation, and integration with utility grids. Basic knowledge of renewable energy, electrochemistry, machine learning, or data science.
