What You'll Be Doing

    • Act as a technical leader and mentor to engineers across the organization, helping to implement and drive improvements in our CI/CD platform, internal tooling, processes, and structure.
    • Collaborate with other engineers, understanding their needs, and designing products that meet their needs as customers.
    • Provide support to the engineering organization - troubleshooting problems, resolving issues, reviewing pull requests and improving our build infrastructure.
    • Create and maintain the build and deployment infrastructure. This includes the CI tooling, machine and container images, build and deployment infrastructure, package management systems,and associated scripts.
    • Create and maintain internal tools and scripts written in various languages including C#, Python, and Powershell. These tools allow the engineering organization to accelerate their build and deployment processes.
    • Develop and roll out improved deployment models, tools, and scripts.
    • Support deploying code to internal and external environments - Kicking off deployments, troubleshooting issues, supporting hotfixes/rollbacks, and maintaining deployment scripts.
    • Support and maintain environments related to the deployment pipeline - investigating issues and resolving problems.
What We'll Expect From You
    • Experience writing code in one or more modern programming languages. (C#, Java, Ruby, Python, Javascript, Powershell, Bash)
    • Expertise building and maintaining build and deployment pipelines in a continuous integration server (TeamCity, Github Actions, GitLab, Jenkins)
    • Proficiency working with cloud infrastructure such as AWS and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
    • Expertise working with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, ECR, ECS, EKS, and Fargate.
    • Expertise deploying containers using tools such as ArgoCD, Helm, and Flux.
    • Experience working with modern monitoring tools such as DataDog and Raygun.

Our best estimate of the compensation range for this opportunity is $135k-197k annually as a Senior II Engineer and $148k-210k annually as a Staff Engineer, depending on the experience you bring and your location.
