Job Description

This is an in office position in Knoxville, TN.
  • Administer ticket system submissions and manage the purchasing inbox; answer questions accordingly, and distribute requests to the appropriate
  • purchasing team member. Review form and standard contracts and understand terms and conditions.
  • Manage day-to-day interactions with vendors and administer assigned services accordingly. Perform routine data analysis on vendor performance and metrics.
  • Place orders for company travel centers or food concepts as needed; follow up with vendors and stores to ensure the stores received the goods and
  • services requested. Look for improvement opportunities within departmental processes and workstreams.
  • Support Virtual warehouse system including trouble shooting and coordination of resolution with service provider and vendors. Identify issues and engage management and key stakeholders to review.
  • Assist internal members in the setup of new vendors with Pilot Accounts Payable. SME on store support, driving results and solutions autonomously.
  • Assist leadership with required monthly and ad hoc reporting.
  • Follow up with internal members to facilitate the closure of tickets.
  • Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Model behaviors that support the company's common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Previous experience in a professional, fast pace corporate environment preferred
  • Proficient computer knowledge and skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and virtual communication platforms (Microsoft Teams, WebEx, Zoom).
  • Good judgment and professional communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong technical and analytical competence in select areas of policy, including tax, trade, and human resources.
  • Effective organizational and project management skills; able to manage multiple work streams and processes.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Able to work independently, take initiative, and not be afraid to ask questions and seek answers when follow-up is required.
  • Excellent attention to detail and diligent at following up.
  • Proactive attitude, intellectually curious, and self-motivated.
  • Flexibility in handling multiple requests and changing priorities.
