This is not a complete listing of all responsibilities, duties and/or skills required as other duties may be assigned. • Perform routing cleaning tasks based on a schedule created by the facility management team. • Wash and sanitize toilets and sink and restock disposables like soap, paper towels, air fresheners etc. • Ensure break room sink, microwave, refrigerator, tables, chairs and all surfaces and utensils are always clean. • Ensure workspaces are prepared for the next day by taking out trash, tidying furniture and dusting surfaces. • Ensure that the entire premises are clean and free of any obstacles throughout entire work shift. • Display caution signs and verbally caution staff and visitors while areas are always being cleaned to ensure safety. • Perform maintenance and minor repairs (replacing broken switches, fixing door handles, minor leaks etc.) • Report major damages and oversee repair. • Undertake occasional custodial and janitorial tasks (shoveling snow from the sidewalk, lifting heavy items, moving furniture etc.) • The Custodian is responsible for keeping a running inventory of all cleaning supplies and submitting purchasing requests when supplies get low. • Other duties as assigned.
