Greet guests, take payment, clear tables, re-stock, side work, and provide outstanding guest service.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Greet guests, take payment.
  • Fill food and beverage orders.
  • Clear tables as required, maintain clean and stocked condiment counter, re-stock all items necessary and side work.
  • Deliver loaded food trays as required.
  • Proper delivery of soiled dishes and linens to kitchen.
  • Set up and tear down of all meal periods and events as needed.
  • Accurate cash handling and balancing of cash drawer.
  • Pick up and drop off banks.
  • Efficiently set up and gather linens and tableware.
  • Check supplies and food products needed for shift.
  • Brew coffee in proper amount.
  • Restock ice, drinks, condiments, napkins, silverware throughout the day
  • At breakdown, return linens and usable food and beverages to appropriate storage location.
  • Clean all equipment (hot chocolate, milkshake, coffee station, espresso, soda fountain daily.
  • Empty all trash cans.
  • Break down and clean cashier station, properly store supplies.
  • Assist in cleanup of function room including but not limited to removal of glassware, trays.
  • Other duties as assigned by Wy'East F&B and Timberline management.
  • Exercise sound judgment and awareness regarding language, behavior, and dress and grooming.
  • Be familiar with mountain operations and events.
  • Be familiar with all Timberline food outlets.
  • Actively participate in RLK and Company's Health & Safety Program by identifying and reporting potential hazards, reporting incidents, and promoting a healthy workplace
  • Exercise stewardship of all RLK and Company facilities and environments, ensuring that efforts are made to reduce, reuse, and recycle when the opportunity is present.
  • Present a professional, quality image at all times.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be service-oriented.
  • Must be detail-oriented with ability to set and meet high customer service standards.
  • Must use proper etiquette while conversing with guests and fellow workers.
  • Must have detailed knowledge of menu and banquet offerings.
  • Must be proficient in up-selling of products and services.
  • Must know and follow all proper service procedures.
  • Must have valid Oregon Food Handlers permit.
  • Must have a valid OLCC required for Banquet service.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be flexible and capable of bending, twisting and kneeling.
  • Must be able to work in tight space with balance and poise.
  • Must be able to work on feet, stand and walk for up to 8 hours at a time.
  • Must be able to keep up with the pace of the department demands of the position.


Salary Description

$18.00/hr
