annual and rolling 12-18-month marketing plans and programs for assigned brands/products across the US. This person will manage the execution of advertising, promotions, marketing collateral, market research, and packaging initiatives and projects. In addition, this person will

What You’ll Be Doing
Brand Stewardship (Build Brand Equity)
Managesthe development,
implementation
and communication ofapprovedannual and rolling 12-18-month
brand plans, programs,and promotions
. Demonstrates an understanding ofconsumer needsand wants.
Collaborateswith agency partnersand Brand Managerin the
development ofcommunication and creative briefs
required
to execute annual Brand plans.
Responsiblefor the creation of
assets and content
for brand campaigns and initiatives.Ensuresassets and contentstrengthen brand communication in compliance with brand book and guidelines.Responsible for theexecution of communication plans.
Leadscreation and management of
primary packaging artworkandsecondary artwork
, in collaboration with Brand Manager and cross functional partners, as needed. Responsible forsecuring final approvals ofartwork.
Strategic Effectiveness & NPD (
identify
brand and business strategies)
Apply shopper and channel insights, along with brand strategic growth drivers to
identify
products,
packs
and pricing
to support customer/retailer plans and goal attainment (includes advertising and in-store merchandising)
SupportsBrand Manager in the development and
maintenance of theUSstrategic brand plan
for assigned brand(s). This includes supporting the development and delivery of presentations to leadership.
Managesthe implementation of
new and existing SKUs
(innovation and renovation SKUs) that meet the strategic vision,
goals
and plans for assigned brand(s). Responsible forcoordinating and implementingopportunities/projects withChannelMarketingand Engagementthat align with and support brand plans, brand strategies, and business
objectives
.
Reporting, Budgeting and Pricing
Responsiblefor ensuring regular tracking, updating,and reporting of
brand investments/budget
,
provides
analysis of and projection for brand investments. Responsible for analyzing assigned brand(s) P&L, making recommendations toBrandManager for any changes to topline projections and revisions to A&P investment options to achieve/exceed stated contribution goals.
Supports brand managers as neededin the preparation of
current fiscal year forecasting assumptions
(quarterly and annually) that support brand plans.Through competitive analysis, assessment of product differentiation, and with company gross margin targets,contributesto the development of
pricing strategy
. This includesrecommending gross sales price targetsfor customerswith consideration of distribution and retail margin requirements.
Marketing Analytics
Monitors,
controls
and assesses the
appropriate success/performance
metricsfor brand plans and key initiatives to achieve required EBITDA and sales goals.
Regularlycontributes tothe Measure/Learn/React (MLR) process across the more complex and critical brand initiatives, able to make recommendations for future investment of cross-functional time, talent,and treasure.
Responsible for the analysis of market trends, syndicated data, point of sale data & competitive activity
in order to
project business demands, assess program performance and inform planning to achieve brand goals.
When applicable, manages and acts as first coach to Assistant Brand Manager(s) assigned to support brand and/or product initiatives. Including specific task/project assignments and development and delivery of Essential Goals and Functions in support of overall development of ABMcompetency.

What You’ll Bring To The Role
3-5 years of relevant work experience in consumer package goods marketing.
Contribution in the development of marketing plans, collateral development, budget management, and tactical execution (P&L
proficiency
, special pack project management, forecasting, etc.)
Experience implementing and analyzing data from a variety of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
Experience collaborating with internal and external resources to develop strategies that meet sales and EBITDA goals within budget and established timelines
Development and execution of promotional concepts,
providing
strategic direction, creative briefings, and
appropriate levels
of critical feedback
New product development successful development of marketing plans and collateral development
Experience collaborating with internal and external resources
Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing preferred, MBA a plus
Ability to travel up to 30%
