Location and Flexibility

This role will be in a Work From Near (Hybrid) capacity based in one of the following offices: Boston, MA, Charlottesville, VA, Durham, NC, or Columbus, OH OR in a Work From Anywhere (Remote within US) capacity with travel to clients and WillowTree offices expected.
The Opportunity

Join us as the VP of Engineering for Fuel iX and lead the development and expansion of the recently launched AI platform, Fuel iX (www.fuelix.ai). This role is pivotal in enhancing our cutting-edge AI engine, ensuring it remains at the forefront of GenAI technology, delivering flexibility, control, productivity, and trust to enterprises worldwide.
Responsibilities
  • Expand and scale the global Fuel iX engineering team by recruiting top-tier talent passionate about GenAI and its applications in improving customer experience
  • Orchestrate and manage multiple squads of engineers with multiple workflows to develop a collective set of products
  • Innovate and develop new features for the Fuel iX Core Platform
  • Launch innovative features and improvements to enhance flexibility, control, productivity, and trust for enterprises
  • Ensure successful product adoption and satisfaction by millions of customers' corporate employees
  • Ensure scalability of the platform to accommodate millions of users and complex corporate environments and permissions, including end user support
  • Develop reporting and control capabilities to meet varied regulatory requirements by country/region
  • Launch SaaS products focused on supporting the Employee Experience (EX) and Customer Experience (CX)
  • Strengthen client relationships and solutions, driving measurable improvements in client satisfaction and operational efficiency
  • Foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous innovation within the team
  • Collaborate with executive and product leadership to align the product with market requirements and drive rapid adoption
Qualifications
  • Technical leadership in AI and machine learning technologies, with expertise in leading SaaS software development teams
  • Strategic vision for AI implementation, ability to apply GenAI across various enterprise applications
  • Deep understanding of large enterprise needs and comfort operating in a global corporation
  • Proficiency in business models, ROI modeling, security, and regulatory requirements
