Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM EST, Rotating Saturdays

Job Description:

Join our team as a Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative I

As a PSR I, you'll play a vital role in providing quality patient care by accurately drawing blood samples and creating a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Interaction: Greet patients warmly, explain procedures clearly, and create a positive and reassuring environment.
  • Specimen Collection: Accurately draw blood samples from patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric populations.
  • Laboratory Processing: Prepare and process blood specimens for laboratory testing, adhering to strict quality control standards.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety regulations and HIPAA guidelines.
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA)
  • Minimum 1 year of phlebotomy experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Medical assistant or paramedic training
  • Experience in a patient service center environment
  • Customer service experience in a retail or service setting
