The VP of Brand & Marketing plays an essential role in the integrity and presentation of the brand of Dynamic Church Planting International.
They are responsible for serving the Advancement, Partnership, Product Development, and Recruitment teams to achieve their objectives through excellent marketing efforts, search engine optimization, communicating on social channels, and providing a well-structured and clear website that builds the brand of DCPI in the marketplace. This person will oversee developing, implementing, and advancing the strategy, experience, voice, campaigns, and capabilities of the brand and products. This individual reports directly to the President, oversees Creative, Communications, Social Media, Storytelling, Prayer, and Recruitment, and they will work closely with other members of the DCPI Executive Team, as we pursue the 5 Million Church Vision.

DCPI is a non-profit (501c3) organization based in Oceanside, California with partners and staff working throughout the world. We train Christian leaders on every inhabited continent of the world to plant churches in their communities, in their languages. Because we primarily focus on supporting national leaders, we have seen God bring His Church to communities we could never reach in languages we could never speak. He has given us a vision to plant FIVE MILLION churches worldwide. Responsibilities
Brand Awareness:
Be a steward of our brands, ensuring all channels execute content in alignment with brand vision and standards.
Analyze existing branding and marketing strategies and improve upon them.
Conduct market research and implement new strategies based on findings.
Leadership:
Lead Creative, Communications, Social Media, Recruitment, and Prayer Teams.
Participate in the Executive Team.
Provide coaching to enable your team to hit performance goals and maximize their potential.
Oversee the Prayer Mobilization team, as they distribute communications to prayer channels and grow DCPI’s worldwide prayer effort.
Marketing Execution, DCPI.org, & Social Platforms:
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and yearly budgets, and allocating resources appropriately.
Support Partnerships team’s presence at marketing events by providing all relevant marketing materials.
Support Advancement team’s presence at donor events and connection opportunities with appropriate marketing materials.
Develop content and social media strategy, specifically targeting DCPI’s key markets.
Oversee creation of email, social media, and other digital marketing pieces.
Manage creation of all branded print materials.
Lead PR function by developing multi-disciplinary communications strategies for donor, trainee, consumer, and internal audiences that advance and protect the organization’s corporate and global reputation and enhance DCPI’s connection with our consumers.
Directly mange the recruitment, training, and onboarding of new staff.
A strong understanding of brand development and multichannel marketing concepts
A proactive problem solver with a strong work ethic
Highly skilled with leading a team of creative talent
Work closely with multidisciplinary project teams, particularly web development
Ability to react quickly to new information and inspire teams to do the same
An awareness of current trends in marketing, PR, advertising, and design
Experience with a variety of software, including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.
Qualifications
BS in marketing, branding, business, PR, or a similar field.
10+ years of brand marketing, brand management, marketing communications, or advertising experience
Years of experience creating marketing/advertising campaigns from developing vision and the message platform to overseeing production on time and budget
Understanding and past experience creating integrated content across all marketing channels from digital, social media, paid media, mobile, but also understand offline and print

Day-to-Day Duties
Participate in the Executive Team.
Work with executives and other creative leaders to set project deadlines and content goals
Marketing Strategy: Head brand campaigns, including managing creative and communications team projects and overseeing the development of all creative content.
Directly communicate with WZL, Board, and Exec Team on behalf of the Executive Team.
Listen to the needs of the Advancement and Partnerships teams, and help make branded products to support their conversations with donors and partners.
Lead Creative Team: Delegate and manage the graphics projects of our Brazil-based creative team, communicating strategy and philosophy of designs, to help them build great design products.
Supervise all of the Creative Team’s work in Asana, ensuring that branding and deadlines are met.
Email marketing: supervise creation of four emails each month, targeting each of our key audiences: our trainees, our volunteer trainers, our world zone leaders, and our donors.
DCPI.org: Manage DCPI.org and implement improvements as needed, focusing on user experience and SEO.
Metrics: Track and analyze web traffic, user engagement rates, and other meaningful marketing metrics and continuously improve.
Budgeting: Set budgets and stay within budget to ensure that marketing objectives are met.

This leader reports to the Chief Experience Officer.
