If you like continuous learning and coming to work loving your job...then apply now We welcome experienced craftsmen and women to applyJob Duties & ResponsibilitiesSafety first - follow safe work methods and adherence to safety protocol, including personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.Read prints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures.Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.Fabricate / Fit to specifications and tolerances Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g. cut material with powered saws to match measurements).Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded.Align components using calipers, rulers and clamp pieces.Weld components using manual welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead).Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws.Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.Keep area and uniform clean.Job Requirements & QualificationsExperience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (TIG, MIG, etc.).Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers etc.).Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (gloves etc.) and must provide own welding hood.Professional Certification (e.g. an AWS welding certificate) will be a plus.Desired 4 years of experience as a fabricator / welder, but will train.Must be a team playerPunctual, reliable and conscientious.Willing and able to work full-time 8 hours shifts M-F. Offering a flex schedule during this time frame starting at 6am or 8am to 2:30pm or 4:30pm.
