Job Title: Host/Hostess at Rivers Casino Pittsburgh - Martorano's

Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Host/Hostess to join our team to ensure exceptional guest experiences by managing reservations, providing warm greetings, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

  • Extend a warm welcome to guests upon arrival and bid them farewell after their dining experience.
  • Accompany guests to their tables at a comfortable pace, assisting with seating arrangements.
  • Offer quality assurance by wishing guests an enjoyable dining experience.
  • Uphold hospitality standards by engaging with guests through eye contact, warm greetings, and friendly conversation.
  • Manage incoming calls and reservations promptly and courteously.
  • Communicate any special requests, celebrations, or time constraints to the server using approved procedures.
  • Execute opening and closing procedures.
  • Provide the kitchen and management with information on large parties during meal periods.
  • Attend to table setups, ensuring they are properly arranged before seating guests.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of experience in a bar, lounge, or full-service restaurant preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English with basic math proficiency.
  • Ability to foster positive relationships with team members and other departments.
  • Flexible availability, including holidays and varied shifts.
  • Ability to successfully complete pre-employment processes.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel during shifts.
  • Capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling items up to 25lbs.
