Solutions include: Precast concrete buildings and products, Bridge products, Pipe protective coatings and threading.JOB SUMMARY:The Production Worker II is responsible for performing a variety of tasks involved in the production of L.B. Foster products while following standard work methods and practicing safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible. Production Worker II's are trained in no less than half the production areas of their department.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:1. Follow all safe work practices and procedures.2. Utilize 5S standards to maintain a clean and safe work area.3. Carryout verbal and written instructions from Foreman.4. Be trained in two production processes or production of two products.5. Complete jobs in a timely fashion to ensure on time shipment.6. Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using hoists.7. Read and interpret work instructions, then execute work per instructions.8. Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.9. Perform regular pre-operation equipment inspections and report any issues identified.10. Set up, adjust, and operate all basic machine tools.11. Trained and signed off on mobile equipment or cranes required to complete work assignments.12.
