DescriptionProcess referrals as they come in to ensure clients receive service in a timely mannerCheck eligibility of clients who come in from various referral sourcesObtain pertinent insurance information and demographic informationDocument organizing and uploading into client chartsScreen any inquiry calls on general informationCollaborate with management on any issues related to referralsRecommend process improvements to the referral process to managementEnsure compliance with all regulatory requirements in regards to the processing of referralsHandle all incoming calls to the mainline and transfer as appropriateOutreach to referralsWork in unison with the clinical team to ensure clients get through the intake process swiftly and are connected to services as soon as possibleMonitor clients in conjunction with other internal teams in the EHR to ensure the process is flowing smoothlyCollaborate internally to ensure smooth referral process on new projects and programsAssist in sitting at the front desk and completing administrative tasks for the officeOther duties as assigned RequirementsKnowledge of eligibility requirements for MedicaidDetail oriented individualSolid communication skills (written and verbal)Problem solving abilityAbility to handle sensitive and confidential informationWell-organized and able to balance multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Ability to work with others in a team effortCapability to efficiently complete tasks in a fast paced environmentProficient in industry related softwarePreferred Qualifications:Previous experiencing managing the intake of referrals
