Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports

- Analyze financial data to identify trends and insights to support decision-making.

- Monitor and report on key financial metrics to senior management.

- Prepare financial reporting for performance of community scale solar assets.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

- Develop and manage the company's annual budget and forecast.

- Track budget performance and provide variance analysis

- Work closely with department heads to develop and monitor departmental budgets.

- Prepare budgets for solar project activities

Cash Flow Management:

- Manage cash flow and liquidity to ensure the company's financial stability.

- Forecast cash requirements and optimize cash management strategies.

Compliance & Risk Management:

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial laws.

- Implement and maintain internal controls to mitigate financial risks.

- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors for annual audits and filings.

Financial Strategy & Planning:

- Provide strategic financial guidance to support business and project growth and expansion.

- Evaluate investment opportunities and ROI analysis for new projects.

- Participate in strategic planning sessions and provide financial insights.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management for solar project delivery and/or asset management.

Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and tax regulations.

Proficiency in financial software and MS Office, with advanced Excel skills.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
