Emergent Care Training Coordinator Hiring Range $28.80 to $38.41 Pay Range $28.80 to $43.21 Summary of Job Responsibilities: The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Rural Anchorage Service Unit (RASU) Emergent Care Training Coordinator (ECTC) is responsible for partnering with the Anchorage Service Unit Tribal Health Organizations on EMS and Life Support training needs and services. This may include but not limited to EMS needs assessments, training coordination, certification maintenance and evaluation of competencies throughout the RASU. The department goal is to maximize training opportunities to support the highest level of care for customer-owners throughout the RASU communities. The ECTC will network within the RASU and throughout the State by attending EMS forums and provide updates on any changes within the program. Qualifications: SCF programs are established to serve a primary population comprised of Alaska Native people who are affiliated with Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI) and Alaska Native and American Indian people within SCF's geographical service area. Employees should have a thorough understanding of the cultures and the needs of this population. Such knowledge is critical to ensure the achievement of SCF's vision of a Native Community that enjoys physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness, and mission of working together with the Native Community to achieve wellness through health and related services: Current EMT Instructor Certification. Current Instructor Certification in BLS/CPR Native Preference: Under P.L. 93-638, as amended, the company pursues a policy of Native preference in hiring, contracting, and training.
