Assessing patient's physical and emotional adaptation to disease and reporting concerns in a timely, appropriate manner. * Presenting in-service programs to other departments and community organizations to familiarize others regarding the prevention of heart disease and rehabilitation of heart patients. * Consulting with physicians as to patient progress. * Assisting physician in determining patient readiness for discharge. *Minimum Qualifications:* * *Education: *Associate's degree in Nursing or higher.* * * *Experience: *One year experience in an acute hospital setting, outpatient service or ambulatory surgical setting required.** * *Other Requirements: *Current Nevada RN license.
