Family-owned and -operated since 1986, our fast-casual Mexican restaurant with multiple locations in Arizona uses family recipes. Every dish on the menu tells the unique story of the Vasquez family and their first restaurant, "Poncho's," which opened in South Phoenix in 1972, showcasing the family's signature, time-tested recipes for authentic Sonoran-style Mexican Food. **A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A KITCHEN UTILITY / PREP COOK**

As a Kitchen Utility / Prep Cook, you arrive each day determined to ensure that every meal that leaves our kitchen lives up to our standards of quality. As a prep cook, you **portion and prep food** according to our family recipes to ensure consistency, making sure food items are properly stored and rotated. You **maintain the cleanliness** of food prep areas at all times and follow food sanitation standards to the letter. As a dishwasher and utility team member you will be responsible for helping with cleaning duties, organizing kitchen and warehouse, as well as learning to prep food as you grow.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

* Ability to be on your feet for a full shift in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

* Experience is preferred but not required.

* A great personality, work ethic, and willingness to learn are an absolute must to join our family
