Your primary goal is to enable people to engage in meaningful and purposeful activities despite physical, developmental, social, or emotional challenges. Essential functions of the job may include but are not limited to the following: Assessment, Treatment Planning, Intervention, Client Education, Adaptive Techniques and Equipment, Collaboration, Mental Health Support, Workplace Ergonomics.As an Occupational therapist, you will regularly collaborate with other disciplines and services at departmental and system levels. These plans may include exercises, activities, and adaptations to enhance independence and functionOccupational therapists work directly with clients to implement the treatment plans.
