Mechanical/Plumbing Engineer-

Responsibilities

Conduct construction document reviews as required. Plan, organize, and coordinate process/mechanical engineering and multi-disciplined design projects while engaged in the planning, design and construction phases of engineering projects including project startup. Familiarity with computer-aided drafting applications. Generate and review the accuracy of design/evaluation calculations and specifications. Demonstrate design experience in areas such as, but not limited to, mechanical systems, water and waste systems, and equipment design.

Education:

Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering

Experience:

A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience (nuclear preferred) in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related phases of engineering. Prepare and review calculations and specifications relating to P&ID development. Proficient in computer-aided drafting applications. Demonstrated experience in mechanical systems such as mechanical systems, water and waste systems, and equipment design.

Other Job Requirements:

Must be a U.S. Citizen Working knowledge of Federal (including DOE Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to mechanical engineering design.
