- We are looking for a Chief Financial Officer with transportation with trucking and 3PL/freight brokerage experience. The CFO will be responsible for managing all financial and administrative actions of the company. This role is a critical member of the Executive Leadership Team. Job Type:

Full-time Responsibilities: Oversee accounting team and all accounting functions such as general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash disbursements and applications, financial statements, and cost control systems. Quarterly reporting/meetings with outside lenders. Build relationships with current and potential lenders. Manage ownership’s financial/tax obligations. Contract review and management with outside legal counsel. Facility lease review and management with outside legal counsel. Property and MHE management. Risk management including commercial insurance coverage in all areas. Create accounting strategies to maximize profits. Coordinate payroll administration with Human Resources. Ensure financial statements are accurate and free of any errors. Organize and update financial records; monitor all bookkeeping. Analyze accounts and suggest improvements to reduce costs and increase profits. Make sure all financial data adheres to current tax laws and regulations/GAAP. Stay abreast of industry changes and current tax/accounting laws. Prepare, manage, and present monthly accounting reports. Act as a liaison to outside auditors. Direct and comply with all tax requirements. Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts. Experience: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance 5+ years experience in a senior accounting position in freight brokerage and trucking industry CPA Certification is a plus Extensive business experience and strategic knowledge Skilled in Microsoft suite; proficient in complex accounting systems, McLeod TMS, and Quick Books Highly skilled in budgeting and bookkeeping Excellent financial and analytical abilities Outstanding written and oral communication skills High attention to detail InfraHire is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
