Focus: Provide technical guidance in electrical design for manufacturing projects, ensuring alignment with industry standards. Acquire proficiency in the company’s design and manufacturing protocols. Select electrical materials and compile detailed bills of materials for project-specific needs. Develop detailed electrical schematics using AutoCAD to support manufacturing and testing activities. Verify that design solutions conform to established standards like NEC, UL, ANSI, IEEE, NFPA, and specific customer requirements. Contribute to refining engineering processes and documentation, in line with best practices. Engage in continuous improvement efforts, utilizing Lean and Agile methodologies to enhance processes.

Skill Set: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. 6+ years of relevant experience in electrical engineering with a minimum of 5 years in switchgear design. Proficiency in 3D CAD, MRP systems (e.g., Epicor), and detailed drafting techniques. Knowledge of mechanical design techniques for electronic assemblies and familiarity with simulation tools. Experience with codes and standards relevant to electrical engineering and switchgear manufacturing. Well-organized, flexible, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking. Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Occasional travel to support various project requirements.
