Become a part of the "strength within."Hexcel is currently seeking a Manufacturing/Supply Chain Management Intern for our Burlington, WA location. Primary recruitment is for one school quarter. The position can be extended beyond one quarter based on student availability. We are looking for someone who is detail oriented and loves a team environment. Summary pay range: $21.00 - $22.00 hourly wage rate. The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:Primary duties will include reviewing layout options for shipping and packaging area (6S), material process review for expiring goods, data integrity review for purchased items, and work instruction update and creation for purchasing processes.Position will also include cycle count process review, specifically looking for scheduling and process improvements. Including participation in quarterly cycle counts.Learning experiences may include:Value Stream analysisData collection techniquesDeveloping a Visual WorkplaceMulti-tasking several projectsScheduling of equipmentWork Cell Lay-OutQualifications:Manufacturing & Supply Chain Management student.GPA of at least 3.0.Experience in MS Windows and MS Office productsStudents must have strong organizational and communication skills.At Hexcel, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
