DOTD Inspector Transportation Sector Location: New Orleans, LA Are you an experienced construction professional with expertise in transportation projects? Our client, a leader in the transportation sector, is seeking a DOTD Inspector to support their projects in the New Orleans area. Key Responsibilities: Perform on-site inspections for transportation projects in accordance with Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) standards and specifications. Verify contractor compliance with project plans, specifications, and regulations. Document project progress, quality control measures, and adherence to safety standards. Communicate findings and recommendations to contractors, engineers, and project stakeholders. Monitor construction activities to ensure timelines and quality expectations are met. Qualifications: Certification as a DOTD Inspector (or eligibility to obtain DOTD-specific certifications). Previous experience in transportation infrastructure projects, particularly DOTD projects. Strong knowledge of DOTD standards, construction codes, and safety regulations. Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
