Description

The Dryland Supervisor assists the Director with the management of Dryland Fitness & Spa, including facility operations, Dryland team, Starterhaus and Haus Quiver gear and retail operations. Duties include serving as an ambassador of all Gravity Haus brands and offerings, supervising the cleanliness, maintenance and safety of the facility, working to achieve high client and member satisfaction, purchasing and merchandising HQ retail offerings, and delivering and modeling excellent internal and external service all while maintaining the financial health of the business. That's where YOU come in Who You are: You have experience in the Hospitality industry or customer service industry You possess strong interpersonal skills and a genuine guest service orientation You have excellent communication skills including strong writing skills You have the ability to problem solve expeditiously and effectively Must be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Must possess excellent communication skills and be able to speak well over the telephone and in person. Ability to read, analyze and interpret common financial reports and written reports. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community. Excellent computer skills including word, excel, Outlook and Mind Body Online (MBO) Must be able to follow accounting procedures for close out and reconciliation of nightly reports. You have the ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations You have an appreciation for and commitment to the outdoors, sustainability, and your own personal growth. What You'll Do: Interview, hire, train, schedule and manage Dryland Front Desk Team members with an eye on efficiency, morale and processes. Participates as a member of the Dryland Vail Leadership team. Participates in budgetary decisions related to staffing of the front desk and makes suggestions for equipment and offerings. Works collaboratively with support departments (accounting, engineering and housekeeping) to improve facility operations. Works closely with Gravity Haus membership teams to drive new memberships and retain current memberships. Develops and implements initiatives to enhance member and guest experience with an eye on acquiring high guest services ratings. Serves as MOD for Dryland. Works closely with Retail Manager to support retail operations. Receive retail orders, populate purchase orders, make inventory adjustments and do month end inventory for Dryland Vail. Merchandises inventory, completes monthly inventory reports and strives to lower cost of goods. Receives inventory and prices appropriately Serves as a supervisor of the spa operation with an eye for detail when training others, booking spa appointments and driving spa revenue. Works closely with the Spa Director and Spa Lead to enhance the spa experience for guests and members. Works closely with Fitness Manager to promote Dryland by way of group classes and personal training. Assists in supervision of Haus Quiver (member gear amenity of bikes, skis, SUPs, camping & hiking gear) operations by way of knowledge of gear, reservation process and supervising HQ employees when needed. Ensure compliance to cash, credit and daily accounting procedures. MOD (Manager on Duty) coverage in conjunction with Director, FItness Director and Spa Lead Other duties as assigned to benefit the growth and success of Dryland Fitness & Spa Be an Ambassador for Gravity Haus, sharing our mission and and vision to build our globally conscious community for the modern adventurers Embrace the Gravity Haus core values of: Keep Growing. Requirements

Education and Experience Bachelor's degree preferred Front line experience in spa/fitness or hotel operations preferred Team supervision experience preferred Physical Requirements Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to lift up to 70lbs occasionally
