Overview:
The Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) is responsible for ensuring the safety and health of all personnel on commercial construction sites. The SSHO will implement and enforce safety policies, conduct safety training, and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain site-specific safety plans.
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and prepare comprehensive reports with recommendations for corrective actions.
Conduct safety orientation and ongoing training for all site personnel.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards.
