BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering. Other engineering degrees are also considered.8+ years of hands-on mechanical design experience with increasing design/project responsibility.3+ years of experience designing complex automated systems as part of a multi-disciplined team.Proficiency with ME CAD tools (Solidworks preferred). Strong written and verbal communication skills.High attention to detail.Exceptional organizational skills. Ability to lead multi-disciplinary technical teams. Ability to work closely with and maintain healthy relationships through fast-paced, high-pressure project cycles with clients and team members. Up to 20% of travel may be required between locations.Must possess a valid U.S. Driver's License.Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.Background checks are required. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge about large gantry systems or manufacturing is preferredKnowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&TGood understanding of basic mechanics and machine design.Experienced in either warehousing or the fulfillment center industry.Systems architecture experience or the ability to think at a systems level. Skilled at mentoring other engineers.Skills and knowledge in various disciplines such as controls engineering, system integration, robotics and/or project management.
