Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for the role of Health Services Coordinator (Medical Records Clerk) in our skilled nursing neighborhood.

In this role, you will maintain adequate supplies and par levels for daily operations, maintain budgetary compliance, track charges and validate them prior to billing. You will also review, compile, and maintain resident electronic health records and any paper medical records according to all State, Federal, local and company requirements.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification in medical records and/or medical coding (preferred)
  • Minimum of one year experience in medical billing
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and coding
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and multi-task
