Experienced in working agile to deliver software iteratively. Able to translate your designs into an actionable plan. Job Responsibilities Support applications both during and outside business hours. Participate actively in SCRUM ceremonies (Standups, Refinements, Requirement discussions). Translate written or verbal requirements into extensible and well-organized coded solutions by leveraging design patterns, following OOP best practices, and adhering to documented standards. Participate actively in Quality Assurance activities: writing coded tests, testing coded solutions in preparation for a release, and conducting peer code reviews. Collaborate with QA Engineers, Developers, Users, Stakeholders, Product Owners, SCRUM Masters, and Architects. Collaborate with and support other team members. Participate in planning and design activities and develop proofs of concept. Management, mentoring, and coaching of Developers. Enforce standards, well-organized and efficient code, and adherence to Architectural design. Identify and document performance improvements and technical debt. Experience youll bring A BS degree in an engineering field. 5 years of development experience, of which 2 years are project-level design experience. Fluent in C#, comfortable with T-SQL, and adaptable to other languages. A demonstrable working understanding of ASP.net and/or Angular and client-side JavaScript frameworks. Effective in a distributed team environment. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong knowledge in software development fundamentals and process, design, documentation, testing, and tools. It would be nice if you Are able to debug others code, especially in C#, T-SQL, and JavaScript. Have people management experience. Can show us one or more passion projects or open-source work you have contributed to in your own time. Have experience with Azure, Test Automation, and/or Docker. Have demonstrable experience with systems engineering and automation. Experience in microservice architecture or AI would be a plus. The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
