Responsibilities

Our client is seeking an Azure Lead with .NET experience to play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing data solutions within the Microsoft Azure cloud ecosystem. The ideal candidate will design and plan cloud infrastructure, including computing resources, storage, networking, and security components. This role will collaborate with other teams to design cloud-native applications, migrate existing applications to the cloud, and implement security measures to safeguard data and applications in the cloud.

  • Design and plan cloud infrastructure, including computing resources, storage, networking, and security components
  • Collaborate with other teams to design cloud-native applications and migrate existing applications to the cloud
  • Implement security measures to safeguard data and applications in the cloud
  • Develop and test .NET solutions (.NET Core, MVC.NET, ASP.NET, C#, Web Services (WCF, Web API), JQuery, T-SQL, PL/SQL) within both on-premises and cloud environments
  • Work with Angular/Blazor or similar front-end technologies
  • Implement Microservices architecture, Azure Architecture, and Domain driven architecture
  • Develop Azure native applications using Azure App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Container Instances, Kubernetes & Containers (Docker), Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus & Event Grid), Azure SQL Database, Azure Web Jobs, SQL Server IaaS, Azure Monitoring, and Application Insights
  • Utilize configuration management and automation technologies such as Azure DevOps, PowerShell, Terraform, Chef, and ARM Templates
  • Collaborate with architects and other senior developers to define software architecture and make well-informed design decisions
  • Work in agile methodology

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience with ASP.NET, MVC, C#, and Web API
  • 7+ years of experience with Angular, Blazor, or similar front-end technologies
  • 5+ years of experience with .NET Core
  • 7+ years of experience with Microservices architecture, Azure architecture, and Domain driven architecture
  • 7+ years of experience with Docker and Azure cloud services such as AKS, Azure Functions, Azure Container Service, Azure App Services, and Azure API Management
  • 7+ years of experience with Azure cloud databases
  • 5+ years of experience with Azure Monitoring and Application Insights
  • 3+ years of experience with configuration management and automation technologies such as Azure DevOps, PowerShell, Terraform, Chef, and ARM Templates

Preferred Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as an Azure certified developer
  • 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure As Code
  • 2+ years of strong scripting skills in Python
  • 2+ years of experience implementing hybrid connectivity between Azure and on-premise systems using virtual networks, VPN, and Express Route
  • 2+ years of experience working with Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Lake
  • 2+ years of experience developing Power BI reports
