Senior Accountant - Due to growth In office daily reporting to the Controller, the Senior Accountant is responsible for supporting accounting processes for the organization.

Responsibilities include month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, cash reconciliations and reporting, cash receipts, reviewing recurring activity invoices, and supporting both financial and compliance audits and reporting.

Responsibilities:

Prepare assigned month-end journal entries.

Prepare and maintain accrual and deferral activities, as assigned.

Prepare and follow up on assigned balance sheet reconciliations and roll forward schedules.

Perform and follow up on assigned variance analyses.

Review assigned invoice activity for proper cost center and GL coding.

Support assigned compliance reporting, such as property tax exemptions, personal property tax filing, debt covenant reporting, DOE single audit.

Other financial projects and tasks as assigned by the Controller or VP Finance.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Bachelor's degree in accounting is required

Any non-profit and/or higher education experience a plus

Any experience with Financial Edge a plus

Public accounting and CPA a plus
