Company DescriptionAFL International Consulting Staff and Services Inc. is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Contractor Salesperson to represent Red Hat's full suite of enterprise solutions to commercial clients. This is an exciting opportunity for a tech-savvy salesperson with experience in the enterprise software industry, particularly open-source solutions, to drive growth for Red Hat's offerings among businesses, government agencies, and educational institutions. As an independent contractor, you will be responsible for prospecting, building client relationships, and selling Red Hat products, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), OpenShift, Ansible, and other cloud and automation solutions.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:Sales and Business Development:Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for promoting Red Hat solutions to commercial customers in various sectors, including SMBs, large enterprises, public sector organizations, and educational institutions.Identify and qualify leads, using both inbound and outbound methods, including cold calling, networking, and leveraging existing contacts.Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions to showcase the value of Red Hat solutions to potential clients.Lead the sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring a seamless experience for the customer and maximizing sales opportunities.Account Management and Relationship Building:Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key commercial clients to drive repeat business and upsell additional Red Hat products and services.Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the sales process, providing personalized service and addressing any questions or concerns.Engage with C-level executives, IT decision-makers, and technical teams to understand their needs and recommend appropriate Red Hat solutions.Sales Reporting and Performance Metrics:Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, including revenue goals, customer acquisition, and product sales.Maintain a detailed and up-to-date pipeline of prospects, opportunities, and account status using a CRM system (e.g., Dynamics 365, Salesforce, HubSpot).Provide regular reports to management, including forecasts, market trends, and customer feedback.Market Intelligence and Product Expertise:Stay up-to-date with Red Hat's product offerings, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), OpenShift, Ansible, and other cloud and automation solutions, to effectively communicate their value to clients.Conduct competitive analysis to understand market trends and positioning of Red Hat products against competitors.Participate in ongoing product training and development to stay informed of the latest updates and best practices.Collaboration with Internal Teams:Collaborate with the sales, marketing, and technical teams at AFL International Consulting Staff and Services Inc. to align sales strategies with company goals and marketing campaigns.Work closely with Red Hat's support and technical teams to ensure that customers receive optimal service and product recommendations.QualificationsExperience:Minimum of 3 years' experience in B2B sales, with a focus on selling enterprise software or IT solutions.Experience selling open-source software solutions, cloud services, or automation tools (Red Hat experience is a strong plus).Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales quotas and achieving business growth.Skills:Strong understanding of Red Hat's product suite, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), OpenShift, Ansible, and cloud-based solutions.Ability to articulate the value proposition of open-source enterprise solutions and their benefits for business transformation and IT modernization.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with decision-makers at all levels of an organization.Ability to work independently, manage a sales pipeline, and prioritize tasks effectively.Technical Skills:Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.Basic understanding of cloud computing, DevOps, containerization, and automation technologies (Red Hat OpenShift, Ansible) is a plus.Ability to conduct virtual presentations and product demos using remote meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).Other:Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven with a strong entrepreneurial spirit.Ability to travel to meet with clients, attend industry events, and engage in local networking opportunities.High level of professionalism and integrity, representing Red Hat and AFL International Consulting Staff and Services Inc. with excellence.Additional InformationCompensation & Benefits:Compensation: Commission-based compensation with a competitive, uncapped earning potential.Incentives: Performance-based bonuses and incentives for achieving sales milestones and exceeding goals.Training: Ongoing product training and support from AFL International Consulting and Red Hat to ensure you stay up-to-date with the latest product offerings and sales strategies.Flexibility: As an independent contractor, you will have the flexibility to manage your schedule and work remotely.How to Apply:Interested candidates should submit their resume and a cover letter detailing their experience and qualifications to Yeshwant Karan or application portal.
