Job description

We are seeking an HR Manager that is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Human Resource department within South-Fair Electric. This person will play a crucial role in developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs to attract, develop and retain a talented workforce.

SCOPE OF WORK:
  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Serves as a strategic partner to leadership and is responsible for leading HR activities including organization and leadership development, change management, workforce planning and talent/performance management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests
  • Maintain employee records and files
  • Manage recruitment process
  • Manage performance management program
  • Coordinate and facilitate HR-related trainings
  • Perform new employee orientations
  • Maintain compliance on HR policies and procedures
  • Manage payroll and PTO
  • Analyze and modify compensation and benefits polices to establish competitive programs and ensure compliance with legal requirements
  • Manages on-boarding and off-boarding experience for new and exiting employees
  • Investigates and documents employee concerns at all levels on work-related issues and makes recommendations to employees and managers that are consistent with company values, policies, and procedures that adhere to federal and state laws
  • Performs other duties as needed or required
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Business Administration and/or five or more years of relevant experience
  • 5+ years' experience in Human Resources
  • SHRM certification preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence, establish trust, credibility, and confidence with employees, maintaining a professional composure at all times
  • Strong problem solving and ability to assess the needs of the business and design and implement the best solutions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
