Position DescriptionAs a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:Programming 3 and 5 axis CNC Milling machines and/or 7 axis Mill Turn and Bar Fed Mills. Maintain quality standards and schedulesFollow instructions and standard proceduresInterface with engineering, department supervisors and quality control inspection, coworkers and upper management Position RequirementsThis position requires the following skills and attributes:5 years of experience in programming 3-axis and/or 5-axis CNC machines or lathesWorking knowledge of a variety of materials: stainless steel, aluminum, plastics, tool steels, etc.Experience in Autodesk FeatureCAM or equivalent softwareAbility to hold tight tolerancesStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to work overtime, if needed PreferredExperience in machining hardened tool steelsExperience with molds and mold componentsExperience in machining multiple grades of stainless steel BenefitsThe base compensation range for this role is $25-$35/ hour for the position in California. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries in California based on the date of this job posting. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range compensation package during your hiring process. Please understand that the compensation range may be modified in the future. Each amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation once such amount is earned and determinable.
