Analyst, Reporting Governance - US - Apex, NC

The Blueprint (Role Profile)

Reporting to the Manager, Reporting Governance, this role will have a supporting role for Tableau reporting and guidance to the business as a part of the Reporting Governance team at Apex Tool Group. The selected candidate will work closely with the Manger, Reporting Governance to train and employ analytical reporting skills and drive data-based decision making, fostering a data driven culture within Apex Tool Group. This includes enhancing the distribution of data through coaching in report building, driving overall compliance and structure in the reporting library and streamlining business activities through robotic process automation.

The location for this role is flexible but is expected to be in office at the chosen location, including Charlotte (NC), Apex (near Raleigh/Durham, NC), Lexington (near Colombia, SC), or Sparks (near Baltimore, MD).

The Blueprint (Responsibilities)

•Support governance of ATG Tableau reporting library and compliance to ATG reporting standards, including training and support of ATG tableau user base.

•Demonstrate platform best practices and support the maintenance corporate dashboards for overall business teams.

•Administer ATG Tableau website, content, security settings and overall organization and structure compliance.

•Complete monthly and year-end reporting routines to ensure compliance with period standards.

•Create and maintain Tableau reporting documentation.

•Develop and manage reporting change request form and process.

•Be informed and aware of contemporary and emerging technical solutions related to supply chain planning and look for opportunities where these should be deployed.

•Support strategic initiatives within the supply chain community and support BU embedded creators in furthering analytics use to answer business needs.

•Provide training to BU embedded creator group to develop stronger data competencies and reporting fluency.

•Help develop strategy for introducing advanced analytics into the business, such as marketing modeling and other predictive/quantitative modeling capabilities.

The Toolbox (Qualifications)

•Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics or a related business field preferred.

•2+ years' experience in roles that required in-depth use of analytical techniques applied in a supply chain environment.

•Proficiency with Tableau is preferred but strong experience with other data visualization programs will be considered.

•High level of attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adjusting priorities as needed to meet deadlines.

•Strong, hands-on experience with SAP in a supply chain environment is preferred. Experience with other big-ERP systems will be considered.

•Outstanding presentation skills and the ability to express complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.

•Must be willing to travel (estimated 10%), including internationally.
