Job Description:

A Tech Lead in Collateral Strategies is needed in Operations Technology to provide technical oversight and leadership for an onshore / offshore team that's accountable for five Collateral Strategies applications with have a diverse technology stack including .NET, Java, MuleSoft, etc. The portfolio includes ValueFinder, which is similar to Zillow. It generates 50MM realtime automated property appraisals per year that are used by mortgage underwriting & servicing applications. It supports multiple customer facing channels including mobile and online bank. Scalability and availability are critical and closely monitored. This is a leadership role on a team that supports 15 Bank-owned application with >60 internal and external integrations.

This job is responsible for providing leadership, technical direction and oversight to a team delivering technology solutions. Key responsibilities of the job are to provide oversight of the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex computer programs, align technical solutions to business objectives, and ensure that coding practices/quality comply with software development standards. Job expectations include conducting multiple software implementations and applying both depth and breadth in knowledge of several technical competencies.

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development
  • Proficiency in .NET and Java, and optionally MuleSoft
  • Strong understanding of software architecture principles
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Kanban
  • Proven ability to provide technical oversight to onshore / offshore teams
  • Experience managing and mentoring software developers
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience in leadership role within software development team
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Experience with enterprise integration patterns
