Bilingual HR Coordinator

POSITION PURPOSE

The Bilingual HR Coordinator is responsible for ensuring new hire compliance through various technologies and systems, supporting employees-including Spanish-speaking employees-throughout the transition process. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and excellent process execution. The HR Coordinator collaborates closely with the HR & Intake team to drive the overall success of both the team and PASCO.
Key Duties & Responsibilities

Transitions/Onboarding:

  • Be the go-to person for receiving and processing employee paperwork for transitions and onboarding.
  • Guide employees through compliance requirements and necessary steps with enthusiasm.
  • Monitor tasks in Salesforce to ensure a seamless transition experience.
  • Update HR systems and work closely with teams to ensure transitions are smooth sailing.
  • Identify and overcome obstacles to employment during transitions with creativity and resourcefulness.
  • Track and report onboarding progress for our Spanish-speaking employees with passion.
New Hire Compliance (First 6 months):
  • Conduct audits on paperwork to ensure compliance with HR guidelines with zeal.
  • Ensure background checks and other compliance checks are processed promptly and accurately.
  • Proactively communicate with compliance specialists for support and continuous improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date on compliance laws and regulations with excitement.
  • Manage employee records accurately and efficiently with a positive attitude.
  • Utilize data to enhance compliance processes and make a real impact.
Other:
  • Act as a bridge between Spanish-speaking employees and clients, fostering strong relationships.
  • Embrace additional duties as assigned with enthusiasm and a can-do attitude.

Experience
  • 2 years of experience performing Administrative tasks in an Office Environment
  • 1-2 years of experience in Human Resources is preferred
Knowledge, Skills or Abilities
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information responsibly.
  • Ability to work with a diverse population.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills, ability to maintain one's own schedule and meet deadlines.
  • Ability and willingness to work in teams and extend support to others when asked to solve problems and improve outcomes.
  • Ability to operate a computer, familiarity with Microsoft products, specifically Outlook and ability to receive and process work in applicable electronic health record systems.
    • Bilingual abilities with the Spanish language is highly preferred
Physical or Other Requirements (with little or reasonable accommodation):
  • Ability and willingness to be in the Lakewood office on Mondays from 8:30am to 12:00pm. Backup support can be arranged on an as needed basis through the HR Compliance Specialist.
  • Sitting most of the time in front of a computer screen or paperwork.
  • Walking and standing are required only occasionally (up to 1/3 of the time).
  • Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
  • Requires talking, hearing and detailed work with fingers, such as typing
  • Requires close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection).
  • Examples: Positions that require sitting at a desk talking on the telephone, or entering data or processing paperwork that require only occasional walking to meet with others or retrieve items of negligible weight.

PAY $20 - $22.50/hour

LOCATION/SCHEDULE hybrid; full-time M-F 8:30a - 4:30p
