Your Role

The Case Management Administration team is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance and operational excellence by working closely with the Case Management leadership team, Information Technology and Data Analytics teams to enhance the clinical documentation application, develop and validate reports, as well as manage external vendor relationships. The Program Manager, Senior will report to the Sr. Manager, Operations. In this role you will act as a subject matter expert and review operational workflows, identify problems, recommend improvements, modifications, and enhancements. Tracks and communicates workflow and process changes to appropriate resources. With analytics team, develops and generates reports for management and executive leadership review. Coordinates and facilitates Case Management leadership meetings. Notifies appropriate department managers about issues and problems in operational workflow requiring immediate attention. Participates as a subject matter expert in the development of written guidelines and documents problems, as needed.

Your Work

In this role, you will:

  • Direct small-scale, complex programs/projects that may involve multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage the development and implementation process of companys projects involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on delivery of new or existing internal/external programs and/or products
  • Develop the program, integrated program plan, resource plan, contingency plan, and related project management artifacts
  • Validate financial forecasts and provide on-going reconciliation of resources and other related program expenditures
  • Define and track program milestones while developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan

Your Knowledge and Experience

  • Requires bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • Requires at least 5 years of prior relevant experience
  • Requires health plan Case Management experience
  • Knowledge and experience working with Dual Special Needs Plan and MediCal Seniors and Persons with Disabilities is preferred
  • Previous project management experience is required

Pay Range:

The pay range for this role is: $ 87230.00 to $ 130900.00 for California.

Blue Shield salaries are based on a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, location (California, Bay area, or outside California), and current employee salaries for similar roles.
