Additional Information: This position will remain open until filled. General Summary:This position supports the Campus Administrator and Business Management Department with file management and the maintenance and retention of records. The candidate must be organized and possess an understanding of confidentiality and data protection. The ideal candidate will be skilled in computers and detail-oriented.

Requirements:
Education and Experience: Associate's degree and 1 year of related experience or a high school diploma or GED and 3 years of related experience.

Skills/Abilities Requirements:

•Considerable knowledge and competency using office services technology including scanning, electronic record keeping and electronic record management.

•Must be able to learn, understand and follow moderately complex instructions, procedures and policies.

•Must understand importance of compliance with college policy, state and federal requirements and confidentiality.

•Excellent communication and analytical skills, verbally and in writing, to clearly communicate in a professional manner.

•Proficiency and/or understanding of database and records management;

•Strong written and oral communications and relational skills.

•Experience with office equipment to include scanning, copying, file management, Microsoft Office products.

•Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer.

•Troubleshoot and resolve problems.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Duties:
1. Review, verify, code, and/or classify paper records and assign retention in accordance with the CCAC Records Retention Policy and operating procedure and to ensure compliance with state requirement.

2. Scan and electronically link retained documentation into a campus wide electronic filing system.

3. Ensure all scanned documents are clear, legible and marked with a destruction date as determined by the record retention policy.

4. Use disposition processes on files that have met retention requirements.

5. Separate and dispose of all non-essential documents eligible for immediate destruction.

6. Performs other related duties as required or as assigned.

Clearances:Current criminal record/child abuse clearances will be required if offered the position and to be employed at the College. The three clearances are Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Records Check, and Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) Criminal Background Check.
