This position will play an important role in long-term growth of the organization. You will provide technical contribution and leadership for our team of environmental professionals for manufacturing and waste management verticals.

Responsibilities:

· Evaluate and review applicable federal, state, and local environmental regulations and technical permitting requirements required to develop application information and obtain the necessary environmental permits for our client’s intended needs.

· Obtain and evaluate specific operational and technical information related to various industrial and commercial activities for a wide array of clients that may be required to prepare and related regulatory compliance issues.

· Foster business development skills among staff through coaching and partnering.

· Manage projects, budgets, scope, change orders.

· Pro-actively troubleshoot and problem solve with practical client-focused solutions

Qualifications:

  • Supporting private and public-sector client air quality needs, including preparation of state and federal air permit applications; mobile and stationary source air modeling; GHG assessments; design and construction air quality analysis; preparation of proposals, technical reports, client presentations, other items as needed.
  • Managing client relationships in various private and public sectors.
  • Coordination of air quality consulting services with other Team members.
  • Managing projects
  • QA/QC technical work from Program Team support staff.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, meteorology or related field (Master’s desirable)
  • 4-6+ years of air quality work experience with EPA and state environmental review agencies
  • A strong background in air quality modeling and permitting with knowledgeable understanding of federal, state and local regulatory requirements, including compliance with attainment/non-attainment status, construction air emission reduction measures, federal and national emission standards and control requirements.
  • Expertise in EPA regulatory software modeling programs
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Proven supervisory skills with demonstrated teamwork, mentoring and motivational ability.
