Overview:

The position reports directly to the Ticket Manager. The Premium Sales Manager is responsible for selling premium suites, loge boxes, club seats and group ticket sales for all events at the Arena. Premium Sales Manager will perform all duties to network, prospect call, promote, contract and implement relationships with Premium clients. Responsibilities start in the advance planning stages through the end of each lease agreement and/or event date, including supervision of the clients, payment processing, sending tickets and renewals. This individual will also work directly with all departments to provide a best-in-class customer experience for all events and daily operations. This is a guest facing role so excellent communication skills are necessary to deliver a memorable experience to a diverse group of guests/clients in the youth, amateur/collegiate, professional, and special events space.

This role will pay a salary of $45,000 to $55,000.

About the Venue:

The Facilities Division of OVG360 has an exciting opening for a Premium Sales Manager on the campus of Arizona State University for Mullett Arena and the Mountain America Community Iceplex. The arena opened in October 2022 and is home to ASU Sun Devil Mens Ice Hockey, ASU Wrestling and Womens Volleyball programs, the Valley Suns NBA G League, as well as variety of events, including concerts, family shows, comedy and other live events. The community ice rink serves as a public venue to the community and hosts hockey and skating programming, youth competitions, educational opportunities and more.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for sales, marketing, and solicitation of new business opportunities for Premium & Group Sales department
  • Responsible for renewing and growing season club ticket sales, suites and loge boxes
  • Provide creative approaches to increase sales and further develop the premium & group sales experience at events by adding event assets, F&B packages, etc.
  • Achieve / exceed assigned sales goals
  • Work with promoters on Premium & Group Sales plans and budgets
  • Prospect and sell corporate hospitality suites & loge boxes (single event, season-long and annual) and club seating areas
  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of the facilities current annual premium suite owners
  • Develop and implement all aspects of the sales plan
  • Event day responsibilities include, but not limited to overseeing VIP Suite Entrance, suite visits, managing VIP Entrance Concierge staff, maintaining guest lists, sending digital tickets, etc.
  • Track and manage daily, weekly, monthly sales reports and provide results to the finance department
  • Manage and participate in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and priorities of all Premium & Group Sales programs and activities.
  • Plan and coordinate theme night promotions and special events for corporate executives, businesses, fans, and all applicable customers
  • Solicit new business for premium & group sales in designated areas
  • Event day responsibilities as required
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
  • College Degree, preferably in Marketing, Business or Sports Management
  • Min. of 3-5 years prior Sales experience preferred, preferably in Sports & Entertainment
  • Experience with Ticketmaster ticketing system preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills required
  • Ability to handle a high volume of phone calls
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including excel
  • Team player who is a creative and proactive problem solver
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays in addition to normal business hours
