**Role Summary:**

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for high performance of warehouse storage and shipment processes.

**Accountable for:**

* Monitor workload and assist as needed. Responsible for assigning projects to team members on all shifts.

* Will oversee both the onsite and offsite warehouse/operations.

* Ensure there are safe working conditions at-all-times, in the warehouses.

* Lead and coach warehouse team members including: material handler, scrap processor and warehouse assistants, assist in new warehouse team member selection, orientation, and development.

* Ensure that both warehouses are SQF compliant at all times.

* Organize the warehouses to allow for efficient movement of finished product and raw materials.

* Manage finished goods inventory (customer forecasted) ensuring First-In First-Out (FIFO) shipping.

* Conduct cycle counts and physical counts as requested on raw materials and supplies.

* Fulfill shipping documentation when those individuals are unavailable.

* Identify, plan, and implement continual improvement projects.

* Assist the warehouse team as needed with handling materials.

* Assist in arranging interplant shipments.

* Review warehouse equipment to ensure the correct equipment is in place to operate efficiently.

* Work with the maintenance department to coordinate repairs as needed on equipment.

* Recommend equipment needs to improve warehouse efficiency.

* Monitor dock appointment scheduling system and help drive compliance with this system.

* Work with the warehouse team to monitor and drive compliance with the barcode scanning process.

* Capable of obtaining a CDL license if required.

* Additional duties as requested.

**Educational Requirements:** Preferred but not required - 2-year technical degree in supply chain, operations, and/or logistics

**Experience Requirements:** Previous experience working in Operations/Warehouse Management/Supply Chain Management is strongly preferred. Previous experience operating powered lift trucks is required. Previous successful supervisory experience.
